I encourage everyone to do as much performing as possible – festivals, concerts, gigs, competitions, at school, at home, and any other opportunities that might come your way. In March 2013, I held my first student concert and it was a fantastic success. These now run twice yearly and proceeds go towards a different charity each time.

Adult Learners’ Concert
Annually in April
An opportunity created by Gill Jones for adult learners to perform in front of a like-minded and understanding audience. Only positive feedback allowed!

Longwell Green Eisteddfod
October Half-Term
The Longwell Green Eisteddfod is a competitive festival of Music, Dance and Speech. I am currently on the committee holding the positions of Music Secretary and Vice-Chairperson.

Bristol Festival
Like Longwell Green, but located more centrally in Bristol.

Nailsea Music Festival
Like Longwell Green and Bristol, but in Nailsea!
